Originally, in the beginning I was going to cosplay Rhyme, but there are three big reasons why I chose Neku.

1) His anti-social (and NOT emo) turned trusting friend fits my personality to a complete tee.
2) 's Sho seriously inspired me to do my own TWEWY cosplay.
3) Neku (and Joshua, Beat, Rhyme, and Shiki) is slated to appear in the new Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance game! You have no idea how excited I am to go and play the crap out of it.


I really love the dynamic of Neku's character and saw so much of myself in him. I know how it feels to just put on headphones and watch the world just disappear. I have never really understood people; just living their lives as loudly as they can. When you become of little use to others, you become unnecessary, and so Neku (and I) had such a negative view on society in general.

The greatest thing about the story was that you can actually "feel" Neku start to open up to others. Just the same, I'm also starting to open up to others and eventually want to feel a heartfelt trust.
